ahhhh november

i've never really liked november. it seems to make winter "official", or something. plus it's dark, and windy, and not really any snow to speak of, so the cold hardly seems worth it. if you ask me, we could do away with november. ahhhh, but alas, i'm trying to be more positive this year. about winter. and about all sorts of other things.

so, i'm sitting in my kitchen, relaxing while ave is asleep. squash in the oven. listening to christmas music. sipping coffee with eggnog. learning to like november.....ahhhh november.

The BEST (and only) thing about Christmas appearing immediately after Halloween is TWO FULL MONTHS of eggnog at the grocery store. That - I could get used to.

I'm with you on the November sentiments. Maybe we should start a club?

i don't know why i never noticed this dark thing at 5 pm before....as i was driving home from work the light was disappearing, i got home and it felt like 9 pm. november is weird but egg nog is good.

not sure about the rest of you, but the fact that we waited a couple weeks longer for day lights savings time REALLY threw me off! that extra hour (when it finally came) felt amazing! (sleeping that is)

agreed. thanksgiving is our marker that we will no longer have sunlight in the valley (on our house) until late january. sucks! but it's also inspiration for other things. i think i'm going to learn to play the accordian. (weird. true.) yeah, it's definitely november.
