it's my sister's birthday today. i bought a phone card. it doesn't work. i tried another phone. still nothing. another phone. nothing. i'd try every phone on this island if i had to. just to wish her happy birthday and hear her voice.
no refunds, no connections.
that's how i feel tdoay. but yesterday was my day of tears. so i'm not allowed anymore. don't worry though. the sun has soaked them all up. at least for now.

i'll email you and check your blog for updates as the phones are unreliable. our flight from phuket to bangkok leaves here monday evening, which puts in bangkok monday around 8pm. anne flies out the following morining at 6am, jana and i leave the next day. i understand if you want to get the heck out of bangkok, but would love to see you. check your blog and email dudes. ps. what monsoon?
Hi from Home. I can tell you your sister misses you as much as you miss her.Dad and I went over to see Matt the other night. we wanted to see his new shop and take him to dinner. It was a great time . we went to froggy bottem.Great food then for a drive and a look at his shop he said he had been working so much he forget to eat. I think we will see him again this week end can't wait for you to get home. Mom
